Nepenthes Naga is a carnivorous pitcher plant endemic to Sumatra, Indonesia. The name ‘naga’ comes from the Indonesian word for dragon, which refers to the tongue-like appendage on the underside of the pitchers lid. While not always, some individuals exhibit strikingly deep purple to black pitchers, which I’ve tried to capture here in glass.
